No I don't think this one has ate anything yet...it has been taking cover ever since I acclimated it...the other 2 when they get unstable they go dark but you can still see their bars (maybe this is just pissed?)...this one got all light no bars showing...

mine are stable before they eat, but once they eat...they look like rotted bananas. that's what my wife calls them. he's just being shy.

Good so I'm just being a datinoob...that makes me feel better for him...I'm kinda freaked out still...Are these guys very hearty at this 2-21/2" size?

Ntt's are very fragile at this size. Just keep ur water as clean as u can, thats about all u can do.

That NTT looks ok, it looks to be just color and not any lesion on the skin.
I would have salt on hand if you are worried about it.
