white spot pike cichlid questions

my lfs has some. there about4''. what will they eat, max size, tank requirements, tank mates. any one with any help please reply.

I just picked a white spot up at my lfs as well, nice fish

Do you have pics? We could probably tell you for sure what you have, common names usually aren't any good.

I think it might be Crenicichla albopunctata. I know white spot pike is one of the common name in the trade. Not 100% sure thou.

they may be sveni. I have seen sveni sold as white spot before.

My is growing a lot. Doesn't like my geophagus that much. he has a ring of white dots that then progress down his side. He also gets a kinda red on the tips of his fins. Sold to me as white spot pike

I'd like to see some pics of juvies. I picked up 8 "white spot pikes" at my local LFS and they look very much like Saxatilis to me. They are about 4" and already have quite a bit of spangling on them. BlueGrass Cichlids has a decent shot that looks close to what I have.
