White spot pleco error?

I bought two 1" White spot plecos at lfs tonight...One matches the decription, the other is noticeably different. The odd one has more of a brown background and the spots are much more yellow. Any idea what it is? Is it possible that they are the same species but one hasn't colored yet?
 
from the description it sounds like you got screw'd. White spots I have seen have had their coloration as small as 1.5 inches. Pics would help alot!!
 
My camera isn't good enough. I will get a new camera. Just for this thread. No other reason. But not right now. I will get it this weekend hopefully. Thanks for your thoughtfulnesss.
 
Upon further inspection, (the little bastard has been hiding a lot), I viewed him in the open today and he has the Exact same markings as my gold nugget but not quite as intense. I may not have been ripped off, I may have been given a good deal Gold Nugget for $10?
 
These two have gained significant size, and one still has white spots while the other is still maintaining his YELLOW coloration. This may turn out to be seriously sweet.
 
Maybe one is younger, or they are the same species but with other coloration
 
It's a possibility, but I hope not.
 
Have tried to take pics, too small and too much flash. I will try again.
