White spot questions

Since no one answers questions in the disease forum section...

I've noticed white spot on my Oscar, who has immediately been removed and quarantined. Its due to stress from fighting; not water conditions, my question is whether you would change anything in the tank in question.

The remaining fish are very healthy, I added salt recently, my only other idea would be to bump temp up slightly just in case, what is the risk of the white spot transferring?

If it's ich, chances are the rest of the fish in the tank will get it too, keep temp at 86 F and treat with aquarium salt for a week or two. My tank just recently had an ich outbreak and I followed the procedures from one of the stickies in the disease forum
