Hey guys, sorry I know this picture was posted in another thread but i thought it would be better to have a thread by itself so that I can get more specific advice! Anyway, below is the picture and I was worrying about the white spots and stripes that I see. Is my worry uncalled for? Or should I prepare for something nasty? Background information: Just got this stingray (my first ray) 2 days back, when I first introduced it to the new tank its skin started to shed which I am guessing would be due to chlorine burn? Have dealt with that problem by adding the special liquid that neutralises the chlorine, other heavy metals, etc. Also bought the liquid which has healthy bacteria in it. Shedding has stopped on the second day but whitish areas still apparent. Any ideas/advice? Thanks!

silly me forgot to post the pic.. haha here it is!

more often than none, the slime coat shedding is due to stress possibly from shipping. how long was the ray in transit shipping? how did u acclimate? what are you current tank stocklist? is it wild caught or captive bred? tank water parameters? u do use water conditioner every water change right?
