Whenever a new fish is introduced lately it gets these white spots, then eventually dies, a couple of says ago a breeding pair of dolphins got them and died...
Any ideas? What should I do for treatment? It's only the new fish, all the old fish have nothing like it.

Water changes done every 4 days
all parameters are good

African Cichlids

increase the temp.

It might be ICK!!!!..I recently had it and I described it as little white spots...I would put whatever fish that have the white spots into a hopital tank..and depending on the size of the tank add 1tbs of aquarium salt to every 5 gal, raise the temp to about 86 degrees do that for about a week and that should work.. I add about 2 more table spoons of salt spread out for about a week and I worked...

ya, you probably are, but just make sure to acclimate, or doing for a bit longer. Less stress the better. And turn your temp up a bit.

If you have a second tank you should always quarantine new fish for a couple weeks before introducing them to you main tank, especially when bought from your lfs. This will reduce your chances of ick and other diseases. If you don't have one, you can buy a 10g for pretty cheap, and a hospital tank always comes in handy. For the current ick problem just bump the heat to about 86 gradually, and add salt. You can get a better understanding on ick/ich by doing a search, like bluehairman said, theres tons of posts. GL.
