I just noticed this today (early afternoon) when i turned the lights on.

It does NOT look like ich. I saw very few occasional flashing, but nothing out of the ordinary (they weren't constantly doing it to the point of harming themselves)

The white spots are around the body, none on the bony area

It looks more like a "washed out" scales.. it's pretty weird, i have never seen them before. I have had all of these dats for about 2-3 years.

I always QT every new tennant, the last to went in was the Aussie Lung (from Mike at H20) and hew was QT'ed for 1 month prior.

I just did WC and added about 2 lbs of salt per 100 gallons. I am increasing the temp as well. It usually runs at about 77-80 degrees

I appreciate the input.

Stan

PS: I also attached the FINE image (huge file) if any of you wants to see it up close.

doesnt look like ich. maybe its scratching itself on the gravel? hope someone has seen it before that can tell ya what it is.

Has it been fighting? My indos have occasionally had that , scales just either fell off ad new ones grew back.

Mmmm strange,il be interested in the outcome of this.
Good luck.

Day 2, They're doing better, I saw a few less spots on the pulchers today. some of the IT still have them, but they weren't as many as yesterday.

I'll update tomorrow..hopefully, they all will be gone by tmw
