I'm having a hard time seeing what you are referring to. I see white in the center of marble spots which looks like normal coloration. I also see white sand on the ray. I can't see much else. Can you take closer pictures.

Anyone else?

I'm talking about the light spots within the supposed to be dark black rings. Sorry for the late response

This is genetic coloring and isn't health related. It's part of the ray's natural pattern. Whether this pattern is a good or a bad thing is open to perception. It's not a sign of deteriorating health which matters most.
