White stinger tip.. Injury?

My Motoro x Pearl shed his first stinger last week. I have now noticed tonight the tip of his stinger is white, with a what loos like a fine strand of string hanging off.

Wondering if this is some form on injury? or something to do with the shed stinger the previous week? Just concerned!

He is active and eating still.

The 'string' is a bit of the sheath. This happens to rays all the time, it can be from rubbing up against something, having a scrap with another fish or ray, or as a result of the other stinger being shed.

Nuttin' to worry about whatsoever.
