Hello, I would like some feedback on how I can treat my dad's arowana. I'm 18 and I do have prior knowledge of the diseases freshwater fish are exposed to. However, I haven't seen this kind of thing before. Here are a couple of images:

There doesn't seem to be major symptoms, but my dad and I speculate there is something wrong. These white strands are attached to the tail and it seems like some parasite, but I'm not 100% sure. Can anyone please diagnose the disease and as be so kind as to suggest a remedy. Thank you.

looks like finrot to me, bump the temp to 84, add kosher salt ( 1 measured cup per 50 gallons) and do plenty of water changes (at least 50% twice a week). This is due to bad water conditions. If that doesnt help the I would treat with melafix.

Need clearer pic, is this just a strand of fin tissue or is it an attached organism?
