Hi All
Since last week my flowerhorn has been spitting out food and passing out white stringy poop and I read from this forum that the problem and infection is highly due to HEX. My FH is on a pellet diet and occasionally i will feed dry shrimp to him. but never live feed. Upon realizing and under the advice of what I have read from other hobbyist i have put him on a oral medication using CLEAR by CA aqua product. Everyday I changed 30% water and have been monitoring the situation. I was very certain that this is going to cure him

on day 4 when I saw no improvement i start to add EIHO PRAZI GOLD into the water and continue with my CLEAR medication. The fish at this time has reject all form of food but is still swimming well and responded to me but has obviously drop it level of activeness and aggressiveness.
Day 5 no improvement and I carry on with my routine of adding EIHO PRAZI GOLD and giving him oral CLEAR medication. still no food
Day 6 still passing out white poop, rejecting all food. I double up the dosage of the CLEAR from one yellow and one white capsule to two yellow and two white capsule and mixed with a bit of garlic and shoot it orally to his stomach. change 50% water this time and adding double the EIHO PRAZI GOLD.

I am really at my end and felt I have did what i can. what else can I still do to save this guy?

Try metro dosed to the tank with Epsom salt in the tank at 1 tbsp per 5g. Feed the fish some hexashiled or metroplex that’s soaked in Epsom salt solution.

Epsom salt sol is 1/2cup distilled water and 3/4 tsp Epsom salt.

Can use seachem focus to bind everything up. Best of luck.
