White stuff on Arowana head

I knew my fish had white slime on the eyes.so fo that I put medicine and the slime slowly disappeared. But that process took 5 days.
So I thought if I waited for another 2 days, the slime would b gone.but instead, it grew more and all over the head! Someone please help me!!

test kits, API makes one. your local aquarium store should have them.

When I bought him, he was fine. But after a month ,I forgot to change the water and clean the filter.
