Hi all, I have a high fin spotted pleco that has had some white fuzzy stuff on the sides of his body for a while. I didnt worry about it until it grew. I treated the tank for fungus. I need to know what it is. Pictures are coming soon. Do you know what it is?
its probably fungus. I'm currently dealing with it on one of my pickerels. little white fuzzy patches on his fins and behind his gills. what did you treat with?
Pimafix is suppose to be good for fungus. He probably got injured and the wound got fungus as a result of it. Keeping the tank really clean with frequent water changes will help speed up the recovery. Just see it like this when people get injured the bandages have to be changed daily since a dirty bandage could make it worse. Well clean water is there clean bandage. Hope both of ya have fast recoveries with your fish.
Thx man and I think I used api. It was this green powder stuff that I had to put in the tank. It turned my tank water really green so I hope they get better
