Hey guys, I have these white stuff that build up on my fish tank glass and on the driftwoods. It only happens after a water change. I can take it off. I do a water change every 4 days. After a water change the white stuff slowly start to go awake, in about 3-4 days, but I do water change again so... what could it be. It looks like algae but not as thick or strong or long as it. more like grease. some pictures.

Is the white stuff on the sides of the glass wavy? Moves with the current in the tank?

If so then it's just a build up of BB (beneficial bacteria). Nothing to worry about if so.

a pleco will eat it...its nothing to worry about

You said this only happens after you do a water change. Do you have chlorine in your water or do you have well water? Have you checked the water parameters in the new water? And whats the parameters or you tank water? Is the drift wood newly added or is this an old piece?
