I am looking to put a sand sifter in my largemouth bass tank and I would like to be able to keep it with the bass when it is full grown right now the bass is 4 inches and in a 75 gallon tank. Other stock to be added soon are a yellow bullhead, and a smallmouth bass.

Well i think you may get some issues having two different species of bottom dwellers. I have 2 White suckers, one is almost 9" and the other is barely 2" and they are fine with each other but i would be a bit worried having a bullhead with either because they compete for the same food and may get some aggression especially from the catfish. Hogsuckers get pretty large but whitesuckers get very large, i've caught some that were up to 6pound. Hogsuckers might be a pretty option if you have a smaller tank.

I have to vote for the hogsucker, they are nicely colored with a cryptic mottled pattern, they are tough and have personality. But they do need to process a lot of sand and the ones i had, many years ago, loved a bubble wand in the back of the tank and they spent a lot of time with the bubbles running over them.

I have kept both and I have kept them with bass. I found that they do not do well with bass. The bass always seem to be be very aggressive towards the suckers. To the point where they would kill them.
