jus bought 3 baby oscars.. there blackie green with white stripes.. does any1 know what type they are..? maybe there just bubs n havent got there colours yet? there only bout an inch long..i have a picture of one on my profile pic

maybe wild caught

i doubt they are died, they would be natural colors then, but yeah pictures would help, they are probably just regular tiger Os that haven't gotten their color yet, these guys sometimes show good colors as small sizes in the petstores because where they get them in asia they are fed hormone foods to get them to show adult color but really baby Os dont naturally start showing colors until they are a couple inches and dont get their full adult color until they are about 8in, these guys' color will continually change until they are mature

Pics?

We have a Tiger O (as in my name) and he didn't get his colours until he was roughly 4 in. He's almost 7 in. now.

He's got tons of stripes and a beautiful orange colour. I'm wondering if he'll lose his stripes as he goes into maturity, but he's kept them so far.
