White tipped Red Hook??.....

I bought my son 2 baby Red Hooks(about an inch long)they are now 2 inches,but the thing is thier "hooks"are not red but white???Is this normal??Or is there another kind of "hook" Silver Dollar??:confused::confused:
 
Which one is the black hooks, the scientific name??????????? you mean the black bars???

No black bars are different,dont know the scientific name,but there are :Black hooks" they look just like red kooks,but thier hooks are black,they are around every once in awhile.
 
Maybe Myleus rhomboidalus?
 
ive never seen nor heard of black hooks, but they sound cool
