White tipped Red Hook??.....

I bought my son 2 baby Red Hooks(about an inch long)they are now 2 inches,but the thing is thier "hooks"are not red but white???Is this normal??Or is there another kind of "hook" Silver Dollar??

This is normal for small red hooks. The color will deepen as they get larger.

Yep normal ive raised over 18 red hooks from 2" before.

No black bars are different,dont know the scientific name,but there are :Black hooks" they look just like red kooks,but thier hooks are black,they are around every once in awhile.

Redhooks do get a black edging to there hooks once they hit 6"+
