white worms in fh tank

today i noticed some white litttle worms in my tank. what should i do? is it harmful to my fh?

Have you been overfeeding? Is your tank getting adequate maintenance?

Those worms are either planaria or detritus worms. Both are harmless but they clearly indicate the above questions I asked.

Vacuum the worms you find and cut back on feeding. That's really the only way to get rid of them. Don't resort to chemicals. For pests that don't harm your fish, chemicals will make matters worse.

don't feed your fish so much and do waterchanges. I do small waterchanges like this on my tanks sometimes even daily and I never have these problems.

i had those in my pirhanas did large water changes added lil salt but make sure its aquarium salt dont use dossage they require use smaller dose and aged filtered water
