Whitebait information??

Hey guys, I hope I posted this thread in the right place...

I’m looking for some information on whitebait...How anyone ever used it before to enhance the growth rate on fish?

Does it have good nutritional value?

I’m trying to grow out 4 datnoids which refuse to eat pellets...They eat earthworms, mussel meat and shrimp...I saw a post on Facebook about whitebait and wondered if if would help with the growth on my datnoids?

I have never had luck with pellet training datnoids so I figured growth them bigger and try and pellet train them...

Hi

I feed my piranhas whitebait a few times a week and they love them they go crazy for them. Feed it whole.

What I do is I stuff the whitebait with pellets only 2 pellets in each ( Hikari cichlid gold and Hikari carnivore pellets ) as soon as it hits the water they've gone so I know they are getting the pellets, works great. They have great colours.

The growth rate has been excellent too I got my guys when they were about 1" last Christmas they are now 8".

As for nutritional value I'm not sure sorry.

Hope this is of some help as to get your fish to eat pellets, works for me.
