Whitebait/Lance fish question

Hi guys, nooby question here. I've read that whitebait is pretty good for feeding red bellies as part of a varied diet, however i picked some up from the fish monger today and the fish are whole, like head scales straight out the water look, can i feed them like this after freezing then thawing for feeding or do they need to be sliced and diced?

Just throw them in the tank! Everybody do the throw it in the tank. haha yeah but just throw them in.

tend to thaw them out, but after that just chuck 'em in whole

ahh perfect thanks for the adivce! was worried cause of all the problems surrounding feeder fish and making sure meat cuts are lean.
