State of chaos
i always say its not the fish, but the keeper, that makes a fish a
)V(0N$TER. that from marine gobies to whale sharks are monsters, and that all fish are created equal.
am i right??

Ideally, yes.

In my personal opinion, however... if the fish is big enough to beat up, or even eat, a cat, THEN it's a monster fish.

What about guppies? :)

I guess they would be a monster fish in a 1 gallon tank. :)

Monster Neons!!!!!

Trust me, I tried validating this argument a while back, but a I nearly got crucified. I think it was rally and spizz were the only people who backed me up. I kept getting responses like

"NO WAY, MY MONSTER RTC, LSN, RBP, RPG, GIF, JPEG THAT'S IN MY 75G IS MONSTER"

and other stupid crap like that. Monster is an attitude, and sticking an oscar in a 55, or a rtc in a 120, and a pacu and anything smaller than a lake is not monster. Monster fish keepers research their purchases and don't impulse buy them.

Your just describing a good and conscientious fish keeper.

Monster comes into play with the size of the fish and the size of the tank.

If you need to think your Guppy is a Monster for you to take care of it properly so be it.
