Who am I?

Hey guys I picked this guy up from my local pet store what L is he? I'm new to the fish world so I'm trying to learn.

L201 possibly. Could use some betters pics of it

Looks like a snowball L142. Or if the spots are not white it could be a rare L82 opal spot (unlikely but possible).

What exactly are you looking for when it comes to IDing plecos? I mean I looked up the L82 on plantecatfish and he is a spitting image of one of their pictures

Yup, looks like a snowball.

Sometimes different L numbers can be the same species.

Probably an L201, but Saul/Unguy ( Thu Jun 06, 2013 12:24 am) in this thread brings up how L280 are often mislabelled for L201:

you know after looking at the Linus it does look just like the juvenile L-280 how big does the L-280 get before the fins start to darken? Just so if I see him getting bigger then if he gets darker I can know the difference between the 2 right now he is about 2 1/2 inches.
