Who am I ?

Seen at the Baltimore Aquarium. I love this fish, but can't figure out what it is. Anybody know? He's in the central big tank.

It almost looks like an albino pike cichlid of some kind....but Crenichicla don't have that fin running along the underside of their bodies.
The fish in the background looks like a saltwater fish.

You are right, though - this is a marine tank. The fins undulate also.

Thanks,I used to keep saltwater but I certainly don't recall ever seeing that fish before,not even in photos in any of my books.

You're right - Never seen anything like this in any of my old books, etc., or even at any other Aquarium. I did reach out to the Aquarium via facebook - no response yet.

It's a shame the aquarium doesn't have any posted information on the fish.

How big is it?

It was about 20 inches or so.

Kind of looks like a sort of eel.
They may be able to id it on one of the saltwater/reefing forums.
