All the pics of convicts i've seen don't have the long flowing tail.
What is a jag?

a jag is what I told you - a managuense - jaguar cichlid.

Older male convicts get all of those characteristics - awesome huh?

very cool, except i only got him about 6 months ago. Do they live long? How big do they get? I have a 125 gallon tank with the 3 above fish 2 parrots, 1 firemouth 1 leopard placo 1 common placo 1 silver tip shark 2 albino Corydoras paleatus and one corydoras aeneus.

Which fish are you asking about?

And the jaguar cichlid (top picture) will make VERY SHORT work of the shark, corys. (In case that is the one you were asking about, they grow to 10 to 14 inches.)
