i had one pair of midas whith their recent eggs, and a pair of carpintis whith theirs too, and hoping to stop algae problems i recently aded two plecos (16´´ and 8´´) are they capable of eating my cichlids eggs!!!

NEVER keep plecos with pairs! Cichlids defend during the day, but when the lights go off, they sleep and the plecos wake up. The plecos have no issues eating the eggs when no parents are around to defend them.
My pleco likes to go to the top and eat pellets.
It could also have been the parents but it could just have easily been the plecos.
