Quarantine Tank
Who was the person responsible for introducing you to this addiction?

My fathers love if fishing got me into this hobby! :D

when i was about 7 or 8 my parents got me a 29 gallon aquarium kit (hood, light, filter, tank, stand) as a christmas present. i had a small 2 gallon aqaurium before that but i wouldn't call that being in the hobby (as everyone has a 2 gallon aqaurium at some point). It wasen't until i was eleven or twelve that i started having a vague understanding of the nitrogen cycle and considered my self an aquarist.

My grandpa kept and maintained a small 10 gallon tank with 5" feeder gold fishes, they all died and my bro took over it and breed guppies. He started talking to me about how he wanted to breed discus but got into cars.....then I came along with a 360 gallon tank breed discus, and a lot other stuff haha :]

My mom set up a 5g tank that she had since she was a kid.It was on the kitchen counter when I was about 11.Within a year or so I had 5 tanks in my room.

My mom always had the 25 gallon I inherited from her. She said an aquarium made a house a home.

i got into the hobby because i couldnt keep my snakes when i moved into military housing, when i was younger my dad kept fish but i never showed any interest

I suppose it would be my grandpa.
He used to take my sister & I fishing when we were kids.
Alot of times the minnow bucket was more fun than the fishing. lol
I also remember being fascinated by the minnow tubs at the bait shop, & that blue water.
I'm 31, & I still like checking out the wet live bait section, even when I have no plans of using it on a given fishing trip.
Anyone know what that blue water is btw?
