Im going to las vegas tomorrow night i feed my fish alot and im wordering will they survive for a week withou eating can some one give me some advise what i should do my friend told me i should put alot of feeder ...

We need to know what kind of fish you have, and what you normally feed them. Cichlids will probably be fine for a week, others maybe not

Personally i wouldn't just dump feeders in the tank and go
I know i've left for a weekend and didn't feed but not a whole week. Do you have anyone that can feed for you a couple times a week ?? When i go away for 2 weeks i just put some food in baggies and mark dates to feed on them. I had my friend feed once every 2-3 days being i was gone for 2 weeks without waterchanges. I made the mistake of just letting my uncle feed my fish daily without portioning out the food, i came home and i think swamp water was cleaner. Not to mention my whole house smelled like week old decaying fish food..

i have 1 gt a jewelz cichlids a ebjd and a jd 2 baby festae and 2 baby texas , also a oscar and 2 frontasa
Hello; The odds for having trouble favor having someone without experience to feed the fish. I and many others have lost whole tanks of fish when a well meaning friend over feeds and fouls a tank. I have left fish unfed for a week or so several times over the decades without any problems. I have used theautomatic feeders with good results many times, but do not suggest this unless you have several days (a week is better) to check their operation and make adjustments.
For a week, I feed them just a little extra the day I go and have the lights on timers and go.

They will be fine. But if they eat feeders then you can go and but some but it is not needed. Believe me sometime they go even longer in the wild.
