I've been looking all over for information about dwarf snakehead in a community tank. If you are keeping dwarf snakehead in a community tank please list the size of your tank, what type of snakehead, what tankmates are in there. A pic for us to see would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my setup 100gal tank. The gachua is a major sissy and actually get picked on by the angels.

1 channa gachua
7 angels
1 delhezi bichir

Heres mine, weird mix as the tank is a growout tank...125g
1x Channa Bleheri
3x Discus
1x ATF
1x Delhezi bichir
1x Endi Bichir
1x Ornate bichir
2x Megladoras irwini
1x Pterodoras granulosus

The ones in with the snakehead never fight. But i have a senegalus in another tank that attacks anything....little punk:) No the SH does not bother anybody, he is about 8" long. If anything, the ATF sometimes nudges him away from the pellets during feeding.

gachuas are known to be more agrresive than bleheri, plus the angels would be too slow to avoid the channa's agression if ever...just keep them well fed and see if it works...

I had my gachuas in living with tankmates in the past and present, they are pleco's, dats, cichlids, and bichirs.

i've had gachua living with indo dat, ornate & del bichirs, obscura snake, tinfoils, various cats, fire eel,n.notopterus and even some malawi haps!
