If you recently purchased a Wild-Tem from the Shark Aquarium, PM if possible, i have a food question.

Thanks

i did. couldnt get em to eat one hikari floating pellte, stick, or anything by hikari. i gut loaded em with hundreds of feeders i
i wouldbuy 100 to 150 feeders every two to 3 days and let em all go in the tank so they could eat whenever they felt like it.
then i started with krill the orinos i had in the tank were first to take em. but after 3 days of no feeders the tems came around to the krill.

Hold on my bassin brothers.... I have three and they all eat massivore, krill and bloodworms. tems are the easiest bass to get on pellet. Start with blood worms (frozen) then just get them eating a lot and crumble up some massivore and feed next feeding. Number of bass also matters so get some other small bass (similar size) and create a pack. they learn much faster when they compete for food. I know they are 35 beans a pop so sub some monoculus. I have 13 mini bass 3 tem 4 zingu and 6 orino, they have all a least grabbed crushed pellet and most have eaten it.

Thank you..........

A trick I picked up is using a normal turkey baster to deliver food to small cichla. I've always started with blackworms, then worked my way toward shrimp, tilapia, and pellets as a staple. It doesn't take too long before the cichla realize that anything coming out of the baster is food. And once they get the taste, its a done deal.

ill have to give this a shot. i have 2 tems with 2 orinos right now. they are currently eating aqua treasure mysis shrimp and hikari blood worms. the mysis is the highest protein one ive seen around! i have not fed them feeders at all yet, id hate for them to catch some parasite from nasty feeders. id like to eventually down the road set up my own feeders with convicts since they breed like rabbits! im really excited to see how these tems turn out!!! mine are about 2.5" still tiny guys!

how do you post pics on here? ill get some up tonight if someone tells me how to do lol
