Do tell! I'm now hooked and would love to hear about your experiences with them - and photos would be great.
This, of course, includes S. glanis, but I'm especially interested in the other species, since I am trying to find some, and want to educate myself on those ones as well. Thanks!

Having a search button is one thing, having a fish forum, where people actively discuss topics, is another story. Surely you get that, right?
Who else has Silurus? I'd love to talk Silurus, which is the purpose of this whole site, isn't it? Sorry for being a little cranky, I'm not a morning person :)

Sorry, bro/sis. :) I am just trying to help in my awkward ways. There was nothing between the lines but it was worded poorly/too curt.

I fear even though you expanded your question from the Silurus glanis specifically (http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...ilurus-glanis-Your-experiences&highlight=wels) to the whole genus, you will get little-to-no response as the last time.

I for one, have never come across of a keeper of any other species in the Silurus genus.

I do hope to be wrong, of course, in one part because, just like you are, I am quite curious to learn from first-hand keepers.

BTW: you never posted the pics of your guy on that other thread :)

Cool - no problem (bro) Do you have one as well?
I actually had my fiancee take some new photos last night - hoping to get those up on here tonight - hang in there!

Patience... right.

No, I've never kept any species of the Silurus genus. I have only kept Ompoks and Wallago out of Siluridae family.

Here is mine: Zubatka 1.JPG

Everything was by the book (http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=698). The only significant personal-experience tack-ons would be:

(1) it was very, very hard to feed dead foods, almost impossible and

(2) it was peaceful in my 4000 gal pond (http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=29488&hilit=+pet+catfish&start=60) not bothering anyone, albeit there were about 100 other fish including many much smaller than he/she (1.5').

(3) I have never seen it out and about - always in his clay pot, which I had to lift to see him and feed him.
