Hello,
Every one who can explain about the weakness and strength on using of Hanging Filter.
I bought the Hanging Filter WP606H (10W) yesterday.
I have no experience in using this filter before. Now I have FH tank which about 30 gallons and I wish to setup that filter on it. So, if anyone know the weakness and strength of Hanging Filter ( from China ), please guide me what to do and to avoid when I am using it.:screwy:

i found it on line and looked at its pic. it just looks like your average HOB filter it should work ok just fill it with water before you plug into electricity and thats it.
you will need to clean and change out the filter pad every so often depending on how dirty your tank is.

Thank for your reply.

Is it suitable for my tank as above, my tank is about 21 inches hight and I think that the pipe is too short for tank.
By the way,
What is HOB, please can you explain for it?

HOB means Hang On Back. Depends on what are you using as media (stuff you put in to filter). Ceramic bio rings - keep those, sponge-rinse those off with the same aquarium water to preserve the bacteria, filter floss-replace with new ones. This is what I've done on mine and it seems to work fine.

Disadvantage: noisy, not much space for lots of media
Advantage: cheap, effective, easy maintenence

hob filer i use them in my sw tanks just filled with ceramic rings and a sponge for bio filtration
