Who has the Longest running setup ?

Well certainly not me , I've had this one setup just over 2 months now. I am curious though how old are some of MFKs setups ?
What i mean is consecutively running. If a filter breaks down - I understand that still counts. its the bacterial colony i' more or less referring to.

My Guess is someone here has been using the same colony for 20 years lol

I still have a tank filled with tilapia in the Philippines that's still going strong after 12 years

2 years for mine, Gold barb, giant Danio and now White clound Minnow

if i had to guess, my current bacteria is 12 years old - maybe.

Over 10 years - always transferred a lot of stuff over from my previous Tanks.

8 years on my 55 gallon. Set it up little before 2008. One of the first fish in the tank still lives in it. An L200 pleco. Stock has changed over the years. Currently its the pleco and a breeding colony of 5 RH Tapajos. Same bio balls and canister filter "noodles".

Did a thorough cleaning of the tank a few times. Mostly when I moved in 09 and 2012.

Daaaaang!!! Grey haired bacteria in there! Any original fish?
My bacteria is about 11 years old.

BOOM , that's what I was looking for that's incredible . Now I must ask since this bacteria is the same age as me have you noticed a difference in that particular aquarium over any others ? If so , how does it differ from a less established tank ?
