Since Polypterus keeping can become addictive and you just have to get more and more :nilly: I thought it would be fun to see who has the most species. Dont remember seeing anyone with all species.
Similar to the "Who has the most bichirs on MFK?" thread but its not about how many you keep, but how many of the known 16 Polypteridae species you have (Ropefish incl.).

Just the valid 16 species please (not hybrid, albinos or other abnormalities).

the species:
P. Palmas palmas
P. Palmas polli
P. Palmas buettikoferi
P. Ornatipinnis
P. Delhezi
P. Senegalus
P. Retropinnis
P. Mokelembembe
P. Weeksi
P. Teugelsi
P. Endlicheri endlicheri
P. Endlicheri congicus
P. Bichir lapradei
P. Bichir bichir
P. Ansorgii
E. Calabaricus
_____

I'll start, i have 8/16:
P. Palmas palmas
P. Palmas polli
P. Ornatipinnis
P. Delhezi
P. Senegalus
P. Retropinnis
P. Bichir lapradei
E. Calabaricus

I think CDM get his bichirs from Toyin as well even though his from Taiwan.

I think Infblue got all the species as well probably even more than CDM as he even got the unknown species such as the sp. koliba, sp. koloton and sp. dabola.

As for me I still got a few more to go.

It's actually just 12 known species including the ropefish as the rest are just known sub-species under the endlicheri complex, bichir complex and palmas complex.
