Who has the oldest arowana?

Just curious really, after checking the lifespan of blacks and finding 15-20 years I just wondered?-)

My black is a little over 11 years old and 29" long. Previous owner had him for a little over 8 years and I've had him close to 3 years. In the pic his face is a little beat up from being moved to my new house recently.

Great job Siddons, two good owners for him to get that far. for some reason I thought arowana could hit 50+ years...?
Must be some og members with old aro about, when did mfk start 2005…?
Guess your black is almost as old as mfk anyhow.

With proper care I'm sure 50 years is possible. I know people have kept asian aros alive for that long.
