Who here has African Arowana's???

So who here has an african arowana and what is the size and post a picture if you could.


Mine is

size: about 7inches
tank: 240 for now
food- eats back worms, pellets and flakes

I have two of them one is about 16 inches and the other is about 7 inches. Funny thing is that I bought both at the same time, same size and one outgrew the other. I'll try and post some pics if I can get them to "pose" for a good picture.

Here's one of mine. Tank is about 430g. 8-9 inches each and both are on color bits and various frozen worms. Here's a pic of one of them!

Nice Aro. What a small mouth on that species.

I seen BOTRs africans and the mouth actually opens up pretty big. It just opens more like a basket, not the big lower jaw most aros have. They are pretty cool though.

Yes, it's 20+ inches, but wouldn't hurt a fly.
