Can anybody give me suggestions on where to get a ray? Hopefully one that stays smaller and is less than $150? Any suggestions in NE Illinois are welcome.

Thanks!

The price will vary with size and species, but Old Town Aquarium usually has quality stock, and I don't think I've ever been in there when they didn't have a couple of rays around. Google them, they have a website.

The only thing I ever hear about that place is how their prices are ridiculously high. I can check it out though I forgot about them. Thanks the recommendation!

i know this is a way old thread but i found it when i was looking for a bigger pic of your avatar...the pond is very cool by the way. i just bought 2 rays from a guy on this fourm after i had been looking for some for a while.....but any way i went into capitol pet food in country club hills looking for live food to feed the rays and that place has an entire seperate room with fish. they had several rays and hundreds of other fresh water fish and a decent amount of marine too. its worth checking out just for the hell of it...i never knew they even had fish. kind of a hidden treasure. its at the corner of 175th and cicero.
