So I might be moving for a year to the virgin islands!! I really don't want to part with my fish but they can't come with me what so ever.
Then again I just might sell everything. But I'm really attached to my fish. If you live in the bay area and want to babysit a 135 plexi with an asst. Of bichirs and a catfish and pbass for a yr let me know but I think I might end up selling everything except the tank.

What should I do everyone????

No haters!!!!!

I would let some one you TRUELY trust to baby sit your fish. If im got for years I would have the most knowledgable fish keeper to take care of them. The last thing you need is come back and see dead fish, or get a phone call.

honestly, if it were me i think i would sell them or give them away after checking to see if the person i was giving them away would be able to house them comfortably and look after them. i mean you could get someone to babysit them, but what if something happens and you lose a few? and you said you def can't take them with you? i had to give away my ***golden retriever***when i moved to mauritius for 4 years...trust me, it was not easy, but he went to my neighbour who had a female gold retrev. so he was happy!!! :)

i say sell them
whoever you let baby sit will probably just sell them and tell you they died

not a bright ideas...i think proa would be smart enough to demand pictures from baby sit on dead fish.

If you haven't got anyone you reaaaaaaaaally trust to babysit, sell them. Put the tank in storage and put the money you get from selling in the bank and that could be your "fish fund" when you get back....

yeah, i agree with this one. if you sell them, u can save even more money, and also you would be saving all that money you would have to pay the person who would be looking after them for you. so when u get back, just go buy cool fishes and enjoy!
