I am trying to figure out which fish i want....Im in to the GT because of there colors....I like the JD because of the body size.....but when it comes down to COLOR, PERSONALITY, SIZE, ATTITUDE, AND BEING A COOL ASS FISH TO KEEP...WHICH WOULD BE BETTER???

personally I"d go for a GT over JD but that's because I prefer cichlids that get nuchal humps. GT's don't always get large nuchal humps but dominant males often do in the presence of a subdominant male.
Both will display great colors though for JD you'll want darker substrate. Both get to about the same size...10-12" usually for adult males. I think GT's might be a little more prone to having a more active personality though than the more reclusive JD's. That's just an average...all fish have their own individual personality.

Definately GT. JD's tend to hide and are not very active as adults. Plus GT's look a ton better in my opinion.
go with the gt, i had one and loved it. personality, color, and like you said, a cool ass fish to keep
I like both, but would go with the GT. I think the GT looks better in my opinion but like I said both are cool fish.
I have both. The JD is more reclusive but probablly more agressive than the GT. Overall I get more pleasure from watching the GT.
