Who is eating my plants?

I have sword plants in my tank, and someone is munchin on them. Here are the suspects:

5 Glass Barbs
3 Gouramies
Pictus Catfish
3 Corys
Rainbow Shark
9 Clown Loaches
1 Yo Yo Loach
1 Sunfish
1 Banded Killifish
1 Burmese Polka Dot Loach

I'd say Rainbow Sharks...they tend to nip at everything to get to that algae.

maybe the ends of your plants are just dead and every fish tens to eat dead ends... i had that question for years because all my fish where carnivours, till i added a good ferteliser and every fish stopped eatting my plants...

No, the plants have holes in them. Maybe it is the rainbow. Should I be feeding it more veggies?

BARBS, i had a 30g planted and i had to put my 5 2-3" tinfoil barbs and they ate evey single last plant down to the stem in on night, i was glad i sold them then, but i miss them now, i cant find any other ones big enough to live with my arow

If it has holes in the leaves then it's definately the Rainbow Shark

FYI: Its the Kissing Gouramies. They are leaving tomorrow.

all of the fish in your tank will supplement their diet with vegetation. you need to make sure your providing enough nutrition and keeping them well fed and it shouldnt be a problem

I feed Omega One Veggie flakes and Veggie Rounds, and Omega One color. Also supplement with frozen peas.

Kissing gouramis and rainbow sharks will both rasp away at plants but round holes the with ot the gouramis lips would point to them.
