Here is the deal....

I have a 75 gallon tank
residents are a 12-13" Shubunkin
3 Pangasius cats ranging from 6"-12" and
an albino cory cat.

So who is laying eggs on the side of my tank??

I read that pangasius do not breed in captivity....

thanks, that's what I am thinking.... the eggs will be gone by morning if not the end of the night regardless. I just found it amusing because I saw them earlier and thought it was messy fingerprints on the outside of the tank from my 2 year old son lol went to clean the "fingerprints" off and was like "No Way!" lol

i would say the cory cat. I've read numerous reports of cories laying the eggs and caring for them off the side of the tank.

I would not think of pangasius cats as the ones doing this as it doesnt seem like a natural thing for them.

the cory

ok thanks lol surprised they are still there this morning! lol would have thought the shubunkin would have them devoured by now.

+1 on cory cat, if it is female and the only cory, it is depositing infertile eggs.

Wayy better than being eggbound.
