I have recently been noticing a lot of scratches on my featherfin catfish and have also noticed that my female salvini is starting to get some needle like teeth also could she be the one causing this? She is also the king pin in the tank. Other tank mates are Geopagus tapajos Orange head and a white saum.

My syndontis eupterus, has accumulated loads of these scratches over the years. They do that to themselves usually by scraping along the decor, rocks or wood.

I wouldnt worry about it they'll heal quickly provided your water quality is good.

Yeh they seem to go away pretty quickly but doesn't seem to last long before it happens again. I was wondering if maybe it was its own fault as my pleco's seem to damage them selves also.
