Ok, I gotta ask, where is mulletville rallysb1tch? Are you a neighbor of mine? Almost everyone in my town has the cooperate on top, party in the back thing going on. The few people that I know here who keep fish.....do not know how to keep fish. There are no good local fish shops here unless I drive about 40 miles to get there. I would start a new site called mullet fish keepers but the initials would match this site. It would have posts like: Durn oscars had the ick reel bad in that there 10 gallon tank but they still had a buncha baybies anywayz...etc.

Well, if the fish is already dead/dying, why not eat it, asks the goldfish....after all, mankind has often gone without eating found meat ever since they wondered who it had been...
OH NOOOOOOO! Like myself, you ARE in THE mullet capital of the universe. 
I'm guessing that at some point in time you've lived somewhere else like the East or West coast? (a factor that makes it blaringly noticeable how awful it is to live here in Hoosierland). I moved here from NYC because my one bedroom apartment had reached nearly 2 grand a month in rent. Wound up buying a house here in mulletville with 3 acres of land because it's affordable. Look on the bright side, atleast there will never be a shortage of feeders for your carnivorous goldfish.
To answer your question JD_man, I probably shouldn't have implied that there were good places to buy fish in Indiana. I haven't taken a roadtrip in a long time to look for new fish because my tanks are at max capacity and nothing has died lately. If I did take a roadtrip I would likely go to Louisville KY. Seems to be a hotspot for cichlids.

Unfortunately I was born in Indiana and I'm still stuck here. I just happen to be one of the rare ones who realizes that it sucks!
