as it states. i would like to know more about Tropheus Moorii breeding methods.
i have a male and female showing all the signs. and not sure what to look for or help with aside from water changes and a ph around 9.
any info would be great. thanks

You probably need a larger tank than a 55, and definately more than two moori. When the female is holding eggs or fry, she will pretend to eat but if you watch closely you'll see she is rarely actually eating any food. There is sort of a mumbling action going on that you will pick up on more easily once you've seen it.

A 55 is fine. I had a breeding colony of T. Moorii of 8 in a 40 gallon with it completely full of rocks, massive filtration, and weekly water changes. Temp 78-82. Varied diet of flakes, small pellets, and brine shrimp (frozen and live) No worms!
