Who names their fish?

I name some of my fish. My male motoro stingray is stevie ray, after stevie ray vaughn(I know hfg, I stole the name idea from you. sorry!), the female motoro is gilby after gilby clarke because the other stingray is named after a guitarist.

My super red severum is senor severum. I know very original!

My ID shark is blackie.

My 2 biggest clown loaches are wally and beatle juice.

My 3 golden sharks are the 3 stooges.

And the tinfoil barb shoal are "the vacuum"

My Old 12" Tiger Oscar was named Jud IDK why... Big black fish that just chills...JUD lol

My Arowana is names Pacino (The mouth)

And my bigger Aro is named Cheif... It's like he watches over the tank

Since the LFS I went to didn't have what I wanted last time, I've only got 9 feeders that have been cycling the damn tank for 4 weeks. Larger female was named Queenie b/c she was about to pop out fry when I got her. Largest male is named Koi Mutt b/c it's got crazy color that I've never seen in a feeder platy before. Speckles with a total blue body but a bright orange dorasal fin.

thats exactly what my husband would do if it was up to him

only reason i would name a fish is becuase it has a particular personality or maye physical trait that deserves a name. Like an extremely aggressive fish would probably be deamon or jaws or killer or something like that. or maybe we have a fish an odd spot or something it would be called spot. All our rosy barbs are named fasty by my daughter..becuase they are fast. and OBVIOUSLY our clown fish yes....nemo.

I also got a new flowerhorn baby which my daughter name spongebob.

My fish tend to get named some ridiculous things in my house by my roomates mainly.
Clown Loach: Loachramin Ultra
Paint turtle: Chumpstyle
Emporer Scorpion: Dwayne (dwayne johnson, aka the rock, aka the scorpion king.)
Green Sunfish: Billy (the badass)
Smaller green sunfishes: Billies
Bullhead: Heater (becuase he sits right next to one and imitates it)
Eupterus Catfish: Grendel (becuase he is freaking retarded)
ETC..
