Dual 55g Tank stand Build

Girlfriend came up with this idea awhile ago, thought it was great..

Been planning this idea out for awhile now, and finally decided to get working on this..

Closet after taking off doors, rails and what not..




Then to the wood work building the frame.







Then actually building the stand..





First attempt at Fitting in the stand

still have to add more supports in to reinforce the top.. take out the top shelves.. along with a few more loose ends.

will eventually be sheet rocking the wall shut so that they look flush mounted, but thats a bit away.

I love it. Perfect idea. Now if I can get rid of a couple closets of my wife's clothes, I would do this.

I ended up doing something like this last summer, only issue I had / have is reaching into the top tank to arrange things or net fish, etc. Get yourself a step stool or something, it'll come in handy
