I'm curious.. I have 2 loves in my life. I love fish keeping but my first love has always been music. IMO music is the ultimate form of self expression :headbang2!!!! I'm a guitar player, bass player, I play piano and other instruments. I've played in several bands and played more gigs than I can count. My music ranges from classical to metal to bluegrass :headbang2.
I can't be the only one who keeps monster fish and shreds a musical instrument. So if you play(Or used to play) any kind of instrument post here. Post pics of you with your gear if you can--I would love to see!!! I'll start...

My girlfriend is a master violinist... does that count?

I play guitar. For Sunday School.

I used to play with local musicians and even did a few shows, but I actually got sick of the loudness of it all. Perhaps it was the deep restructuring of myself when I was recovering from being an alcoholic. I still like to listen to hard rock, I just don't turn it up very loud.

Great to see so many bassists!

I know what you mean. I still like loud music(when I can control the volume) but I can't stand the scene anymore since I'm in recovery as well.
Fish keeping has become a major part of my recovery. It keeps me busy and relaxes me.

Thanks for posting everyone--keep em' coming :headbang2
