Who pooped in my Trimac cereal?

I woke up this morning to my trimac absolutely the maddest I have ever seen him which is pretty significant since hes mad all the time. Do your fish ever just snap some days and just tear up the tank? He's been really aggressive for a couple months now but this morning he has reached a whole new level, hes attacking all the plants and glass and throwing gravel everywhere and if i get within two feet of the tank he goes berzerk and is swimming end to end in the tank

Anyone else have days with your fish just like this one?

My formor red devil" chedda" Did this to my wife when i was in iraq. He was 10" , all by himself in a 125. He had been in there for 5 monthss prior to his mental meltdown. But it did not end well for him. One night about a week after he started this meltdown he jumped out of the tank threw a 2" slot where the ac 500 sat. My wife found him all dried up in front of the tank the next morning.

so my advise cover alll slots, gaps, and holes in the cover of your aqurium. Atleast until is heisy fit is done with.
 
What size is the tank? It sounds as if your fish just out grew his home and is claiming terratory beyond the confines of the tank. My RD did this awhile ago and is a holy terror if anyone gets within 6ft of him. You now have a glassbanger.
 
The tank is a 75 and yea hes definitely moved on to territory that he cant exactly reach, Hes even gotten to the point to where when I am done feeding him and I am closing the glass lid he will attempt to bite my fingers through the glass lid. I watch where he is in the tank when I put my hands in, I fully believe now that hes willing to attack my hand and he has a very nice set of teeth... and as for the glass banging he is striking the glass super hard not hard enough to hurt himself but its enough to make me turn my head when I am watching TV in the chair next to the tank
