okokok Before I'm flammed I know he's only 6.5" right now but they look so nice together... and as of now he's less agressive then the oscar and Pacu. Just runs away from them.. I bought to blue pearl gouramis as dither fish to keep the oscar and pacu from chasing each other. (After my O got beat up from over pushing my jar until it took a bit out of his side he leaves him alone for now haha) And my jar doesn't even pay attention to the gourami!!

um yeah wait til 10 inches then post it up lolz

i was waiting for someone else to say that... :grinno:

im in the same position... my jar is about the same size and i have no problems with him and the tankmates. he actually tags along with the silver aro a lot. im just waiting for the day he snaps

I have 7 and they are seperated. They are ranging from 4 1/2 to 7 inches and they are all Mean as hell now. The seven incher already killed a 4 1/2 inch cichlid. Just give it some time and you'll see what I'm talking about. Listen to people on this forum. They know what they are talking about!!!! It just depends on you if you wanna learn the hardway.

if u wana use a gouarami as a dither fish, get a gold gouarami. my fish especially jardini hate his bright yellowish color

Hahha trust me I've read all about the brutaltly of a large jar.... And I know my hybrid and tsn will get massiv.... I plan on moving them the I'd shark and the pacu to a pond in the basement once a bit larger... I'd really like to keep the jar and o together in a tank as long as I can.... I watch the for atleast 20 minutes a day and there has been no aggression on the jars side. He has never been feed feeders and I plan to keep it that way... As for the gouramis.... If they get eatin' I really don't care that much.... Just a gourmai snack for someone hahaha but if they make it, that's awsome!
