Who Said Fish are Dumb?

Man, my little guys are hella smart!

I have two 6" kels and one 7" "French Guiana.

One kel and my Guiana are on chopped silversides and one kel is on chopped "fresh" feeders.

Anywho, to get to the point. I keep a hand full of chopped silversides in a Tupperware and have my feeders in a tank directly bellow their tank. When I walk up to the tank with my silversides the Guiana and kel beg for food while the other kel just chills in the back. I visit them often without the Tupperware and they go on with their business, but once they see the Tupperware they're begging. Only when I reach down under their tank does the other kel come out to beg cuz he knows that I'm getting his food.

Just wanted to share that. :)

i had a largemouth bass that would watch me all day and just s3t back but as soon as i would open the freezer to get his silversides he would start begging and splashing the top of the water
 
Hahahaha my fahaka does that when he sees me walk by his tank but as soon as I reAch for the freezer he's already on the top looking up at me lol

Why not try a quality pellet? I believe you will see a difference. NLS or omega 1!

Not all fish will behave like that. I do believe some fish are dumber than other. I think predatory animal are generally smarter than herbivore. They have to be smart to catch a meal.
