I have 1 JD that is a 6" male. I am currently putting together a 100 gal that he will be going in.

Will it work to get a decent amount of green terrors (how many could I do?) at 3-3.5 inches from a breeder like Jeff Rapps and grow them out with him and sell them off as they get bigger? Or will the JD just kill all of them?

The 100 gal will have a decent amount of hiding spots, and all I would have in the tank would be these GT's and one male JD (6" currently).

All would be introduced to the tank at the same time so the JD won't have already claimed territory.

Or should I just do what I was originally planning and get a 6 inch GT, introduce together, and then just have some dithers?

Decisions decisions.....

100 gallon is usually 5'x18"x24"

I think it should work

The height might be 21" but dont remember now.

I'd say similar-sized fish and introduce them together. But you never know with JDs. I have a very peaceful male... but I also had a really aggressive male before too... though, the fact he was mated to a female that was in there may have had something to do with it. I have since rehomed that pair.

Yeah, it'll just be the one male JD (no mating JD's). He gets along with my pleco fine, but don't know about other free swimming fish that don't hid all the time.

Also, the tank will have 2 big caves (diy 3d background) about 6" X 5" X 5". So he'll have a spot to claim as his own.

Alright! I'm excited now.

Any idea of how many GT's I can do? Keep in mind that I'll be selling them off once they start hitting 4-5". I'm thinking about ordering something like 10 as they're pretty small right now, then selling say half once they get to be about 4.5", then selling all but 2 once they get right above 5".
